Psalm 25:4

Show me thy ways, Oh Lord, Teach me thy paths.

Intro - Here is a prayer we do well to keep. 

              It is a much needed prayer.

I. The  Clearness of God’s Ways -

    Show me “Thy” ways 

 A. The Desire in the Request -

   1. Prayer of a person who wants to live Godly

   2. Prayer for God’s way the right way

 B. The Discernment in the Request -

   1. Wants to know what is and what is not God’s way

II. The Character of God’s Ways

  A. Teach me Thy paths -

    1. God’s way is a Restricted way - Matthew 7:13-14

    2. God’s way is a Rough way - 

        Hard and difficult on the flesh

    3. God’s way is a Rejected way -

  Not popular way - often rejected by most

  Matthew 7:14 - Few there be in the right path

Sometimes God’s way is a lonely way -

But is always the best way.
