Bless the Lord
Psalm 34:1
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
The word bless means to kneel, to praise, to glorify, to salute, to thank. This verse starts with I will bless. It is a personal choice each and everyone of us make. We can choose to bless the Lord or not to. To bless the Lord should be a permanent thing in our life. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. We as the children of God have plenty to bless the Lord for. It is easy to get caught up in the troubles and trials of life. The devil is relentless in his attacking of God's children. He never lets up. That’s when the child of God has to take inventory of the blessings of God. No matter the troubles we have a haven of rest in the Lord. Our blessings are in Christ. In today's society our heroes are sports figures or entertainers or someone of wealth. Even in the local church we can get envious of these types of people. What we need to do is to make a list of the things that these people have are temporary, but the things that we have are eternal and indescribable. I do realize that we are apt to focus on the nasty now and now instead of focusing on the eternal. Keep your head up. Just around the corner is home
God bless
