Luke 11:1 – “And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.“

Def. Disciples said – “Lord teach us to Pray.”

1. Pray daily – Psalm 86:3

2. Pray Doctrinally – II Corinthians 13:14

3. Pray Definitely – II Luke 18:13

4. Pray Dependently – Hebrews 4:16

5. Pray Devoutly – Psalm 27:8

6. Pray Discerningly – Philippians 1:9-10

7. Pray Doubtlessly – Mark 11:23-24

Acts 12:5 – “Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.“

1. The Duty of Prayer – Prayer was made – of the church

2. Direction of Prayer – Prayer was made – Unto God

3. Dedication of Prayer – Prayer was made without ceasing

4. Definite Prayer – Prayer was made for Him
