Fire
What is first thing you think of when you see the word fire? Do you think something good like a fire to keep warm or something bad like a house on fire? Fire has many uses in a wide array of settings. I’ve gotten to where I enjoy using fire to burn wood and create projects. A simple question today. Where’s the fire in your life? Are you like Peter and just standing off to yourself warming by someone else’s fire? Are you waiting on someone else to do something first? Mark 14:67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.
Are you currently going through the fire? May I say if that’s the case Jesus is right there with you! Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
Do you like to just play with fire? Are you hot and cold. On fire for God one day, and then cold again in a month once something might not go the way you wanted?
Has your fire just been completely doused? You can rekindle that fire today!!
Is your fire still burning deep down inside like it was when got saved and you still have that same desire to do anything for Him? Jeremiah 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
