June 27 Devotion: Work Is Still Needed

Work Is Still Needed

Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

We seen a lot of people celebrating this past Friday as the decision to overturn Roe v Wade came down from the Supreme Court. It was a wonderful victory as we then seen abortion become illegal in a lot of states. However, may I say the fight is now just beginning. Our country seems to grow more evil with each day. I also read of many people who were absolutely outraged by the decision that came down. I can say that I believe their reasoning is absurd. I believe I pulled just a couple verses today from the Bible that tells how wrong abortion is. We could’ve pulled many more that show it is wrong. Regardless of all that, the side that’s for abortion have shown they will stop at nothing to get their way. Now is not the time to declare victory and move on. We must keep praying. Praying for God’s guidance to vote for the right people on each level to keep it illegal in states it is now illegal. Pray for those states that will allow it. Pray God changes leadership in those places. Pray for God’s direction in our lives. I’ve seen where multiple businesses have said they will pay for women to travel to other states to abort their babies. That’s why it’s important for us to pray about where God leads us. You being CEO of a company can be just as important as anything else. Christian leadership is needed everywhere!

You might be ridiculed. You might get cussed at. You’re probably going to be called names. We must be willing to stand firm. We must be ready now to fight on every level for what is right. Don’t allow one decision cause you rest and think the fight is over. It’s just beginning and we need to make our voices heard more than ever!

God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson
