Jer. 33:1-3: Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Here we find a great promise from our Lord. Yet many fail to proclaim it and even worse, they don’t do what it takes to see it come to fruition.
*The Sacrifice of Praise!
Heb. 13:15-16: By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
*the sacrifice of praise is…
1. An Offering! (to present, contribute)
2. Obeisance! (praise, reverence)
3. To be Observed! (discerned, practiced)
4. Oneness! (harmony, in unity)
5. Ongoing! (continuous)
6. To be Open! (not obstructed, permitted)
7. To be Original! (unconventional, unusual)
Let us offer the sacrifice of praise, call on God, and wait with anticipation for mighty things knowest not!
