You Just Don’t Know
Ephesians 4:32
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Money, fame, fortune, etc. All things that too often are looked at as something meaningful in this thing we call life. There are many who may not have these things and look at them as something that if someone has these then they have to be happy. I’d say most reading this know that none of those can bring happiness. As all of you know I enjoy playing and watching golf. There was a professional golfer last week who took his own life. Yes this was someone who had dealt with some things in the past, but recently had talked about his sobriety as well as his newfound faith. He had also gotten engaged, had won a golf tournament this year, and by all accounts everything was looking up. Yet he was still battling those demons inside his head. No matter the love around him he still choose not to go on. I don’t write this today to be a downer, but hope to help us refocus on just being kind to one another. We just don’t know what others are going through. We don’t know what others are facing. To us it may seem as if someone has everything going for them, but you don’t know their everyday walk nor what they may be battling on the inside. No doubt as the week comes to a close and we head into the weekend we will encounter people that we may not see on a daily basis. Just be kind! You don’t know their struggle and you never know how much a little kindness might help them!
God bless you today!
