Text- II Cor. 9:10-12: Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
Today is Thanksgiving Day, and although it pales in comparison to what the holiday was intended to be, I’m glad we can still gather with family and friends to give thanks to God for His graciousness to us! True Christian’s recognize the meaning and the need to give thanks every day!
Thanksgiving unto God!
*the very term “Thanksgiving” means…
1. Appreciative!
2. Accountable! (Indebted)
3. Answerable! (Chargeable)
4. Approval!
5. Acknowledgement!
6. Affected! (Overwhelmed)
7. Amazed!
Note: the noun form of Thanksgiving is… Grace!
