Oct.13 Devotion: Slackers

2 Peter 3:9-10 [9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. [10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Praise God that He still saves and that we know He is coming soon! However, that unfortunately is our attitude. God will save them if they want to be, and I can’t wait till He comes to put an end to this evil world. Where is our concern for the lost in these attitudes? We are just a couple days away from assembling together again at The Lords House. What have you done to prepare? Have you:

1. Prayed for the Pastor?

2. Prayed for the lost that may be there?

3. Prayed that God show you a lost person to invite?

4. Prayed that God show you what you can do in the service?

We only get the opportunity to assemble 2 days a week. If we would take it as serious as God does and show up each time ready and expecting to see God then we would see a revival break out like none of us has seen before.
