Count Your Blessings
Ephesians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
There is a gospel song that says count your many blessings, name them one by one. The problem with people today is that they're not content. We keep looking for more. When you’re looking for more you will never be thankful for what you have. The greatest blessing of all is salvation, because most people are not saved so the privilege of being saved is a great blessing. Having a KJV Bible to read is a blessing. Many people when they're thinking of blessings they're usually thinking of material things, but those things will fade away with time. Having a good church to attend is a great blessing. It’s getting harder and harder to find a church where the truth is preached. As a child of God the blessing of prayer. The world is depending on themselves and human wisdom to find their way through life. To have a preacher that will proclaim the Word of God and tell the truths of God's word is a blessing. There are so many so called preachers that are spineless, not standing up for God's word. It’s a blessing to have people that are faithful to attend church and those that will sing for the glory of God. We need to stay focused on what really is a blessing !
