What’s In Your Praise?
Psalm 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
We’ve heard the statement that God inhabits the praise of his people. God deserves our praise at any and all times. He’s always in control. However, what goes into your praise? Is your praise conditional? We will praise Him after the we’ve come out of the storm. What about while we are in the storm. When was last time we praised Him for the storm and the things He teaches us in the valley? It can be hard, but it doesn’t mean it’s not true. Regardless of where we are He still deserves our praise. Is your praise contrary? Do you only praise Him on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s? Do those around us know how wonderful a God we serve? Are we willing to praise Him on the job, and around our lost friends and family? We don’t have to be in church to praise His name for what He has done in our lives. Is your praise contagious? What “vibe” do you put off to those around you? If you are around someone who is saved, but maybe having a bad day, can your praise and attitude lift them up? If you’re around a lost person does your praise get them to ask questions? He deserves our unconditional praise regardless of our situation or surroundings. Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson
