2. Selfishness – verse 6

3. Strife – verse 7

4. Separation – verses 8-9

II. The Route of Lot’s Backsliding –

Lot chose

1. The Route of least resistance – verse 10
   

2. The plains instead of the mountains.

3. The Route of lustful reasoning – verse 10
   

4. Eyes on grass instead of God

5. The Route of loose restrictions – verse 13
   

6. To leave the Godly and live among the ungodly

III. The Results of Lot’s Backsliding – Genesis 19

Lot lost-

1. His Christian character – verse 5-8

2. His children’s confidence – verse 14

3. His choice cattle – verse 16, 24 and 25

4. His children completely – 
   

5. Some in Sodom –  verse 14

6. Some in Sin – verses 33-38

It truly can be said “Lot lost a lot”
